Bob Brown and Christine Milne have put in submissions recently into two government processes about the Tarkine - National Heritage Listing and the Tourism Master Plan.

In both, the Tarkine's magnificent and unique wilderness and biodiversity values where at the forefront. But the issue of climate change - both its impacts on Tasmania's biodiversity, and the potential for protecting forests to help stem greenhouse emissions - comes through as well.
