Christine Milne wins Cycling Achievement Award for $40m stimulus investment

News Item
Christine Milne 16 Jun 2010

Christine Milne has been awarded an Honourable Mention in the Australian Bicycling Achievement Awards for successfully negotiating a $40 million investment in bike paths through the stimulus package.

Governments around Australia are finally catching up with the community, but we will only see priorities in the right order when cycling and public transport receive more government funding than roads.
